The worst blogger...EVER

I can't believe it's been almost 2 months since I've blogged. Wow. The last month has been a whirlwind to say the least and there's no end in sight! At the end of June we flew to Kansas City to see Brad's family. We had a great time and Peyton LOVED riding on the plane. He's still talking about it. He did so good on the plane...we even got comments on how well behaved he was. Thats always comforting to hear especially when we have had some not good reports from Mom's Day Out lately. No pictures to post from the trip yet...I need to get them from Nana. For the 4th of July Peyton went to Bossier to spend the weekend with Maw and Paw. All I can say is thank God for grandparents because we needed the weekend more than we knew. It's even better when the grandparents call and ask for him and we don't have to beg!! hahaha. Since then we have celebrated Brad's birthday..unfortunately he spent his actual birthday in Alabama without us, but we managed to get a fun weekend in before that. Nana and Pop came down and we took a trip to the coast where we ate awesome bbq, shopped till dropped and got fresh shrimp off the shrimp boats. Pretty good day!! Last weekend we went back to the coast to take Peyton to the water park....or as he calls it the "balew pawk". He absolutely LOVES that place although this trip wasn't quite as fun for me...as I couldn't ride any of the slides. Which brings me to our next piece of exciting news....Peyton is going to be a big brother!!! I'm sure most reading this already know this and it's old news, but I had to write about it. We're beyond excited...and can't wait to find out that it's a girl!! (give me a break I'm trying to will it to be a girl ok!) I'm 11 weeks along and thankfully starting to feel human again. I've spent the last 6 weeks feeling sick all day everyday..very much a different pregnancy from Peyton. It seems to be getting better though and soon we can start the fun stuff as we hope to find out if it's a boy or girl sometime in September...we hope. My official due date is Feb. 10th, but we're not holding out much hope that this one will go much longer than Peyton did...we're praying it does. I'm crossing my fingers that I stay healthy with no complications and hopefully we'll be able to go to Bossier for Christmas. I think that just about catches us up. The next few weeks will be busy for us as Peyton turns the big 3 on August 10th. We're having a pool party on the 8th for him and he has informed me today he wants a Scooby Doo cake...which he'll have one way or another. Pictures to come soon I hope...tried scanning pictures of baby #2, but as most things electronic in my house...it doesn't work. Stay tuned!!!

Ok I lied....here's just a sweet picture of the little man!!
