'Cause thats the way things happen on the Polar Express!

We took Peyton to Birmingham this weekend to ride the Polar Express. In Peyton's words..."That was really really awesome!" We had a great time and Peyton even gave Santa his paci that we've been trying to get rid of. Unfortunately it didn't last. He was completely ok with it until bedtime when the tears started to flow and the words "I no like ho ho" came out of his sweet mouth...I caved and gave him the extra paci I brought just in case. I'm not going to apologize to any of my judges either....I can't stand to see my sweet baby cry and God knows I don't want to him hate Santa!!! I know he'll get rid of it when he's ready and honestly he's probably close...giving it to a stranger for any amount of time is huge at our house. We all had a fantastic time seeing our friends from Tennessee and Peyton especially had fun playing with his friend. We can't wait to take him next year!!

It was cooooold!!! Peyton was bundled up waiting to board the train...did I mention it snowed the day we left for Birmingham?

Peyton getting his ticket punched

He refused to take his jacked/hat/gloves off at first...not sure why

Finally!!

Looking for the North Pole

Having a snack on the way to the North Pole...he's 100% my son..."we're going to see Santa...cool now where's some food"

Peyton and Kainaan spot Santa and Mrs. Claus on our train!!

He DID NOT like the elves...thats another story, but lets just say he's terrified of elves. ha!

He even got cookies and chocolate milk

Showering the ones you love...with gifts and snow.

It snowed pretty hard here tonight in South Mississippi...pretty sure thats why we moved from Kansas. The difference I guess is this will all be gone tomorrow and the anticipation of the snow was the same as when I was a kid...because we never got it. It was awesome and Peyton LOVED it...he was only sad Maw, Paw, Nana and Pop weren't here to share with him.

My wonderful best friend and her mother gave me the best baby shower ever in November. It was so much fun and Shelby got lots of wonderful things to get her little life started. We feel so loved!!
