Ever been to New York City?

Hope this post finds everyone recovering from a fabulous Easter! Ours was great...we spent all day Saturday with family and ate our weight in crawfish. It was awesome and for the first time in awhile it was relaxing. Being with family always makes me feel warm and fuzzy. I know we're home a lot, but we don't often get to see our brothers and sisters so when we do, it's a special treat. I wish we could do it so much more often. That being said, I so did not need to travel this weekend!!! I had WAY too much to do here at home, but I'm managing. My Mom and I leave Thursday morning for New York and I haven't the first thing packed....aahhh!! I'm so excited and while the last few weeks feel like they've dragged along, this week is going too fast...I need more time! Oh well, I'll pull it off as I always do and it will fabulous. I'm having anxiety about leaving Peyton for 4 days even though I know he will be in excellent hands with Daddy, Nana and Pop. This will be the longest I've ever been away from him....I think New York will help keep me occupied though!! Well I know everyone comes here for the pictures so here you go...these are a few from our fun filled Easter weekend!! I have more to post, but not enough time in the day to do....maybe tomorrow! Good Night!

Just when you think you've dodged it......

it happens. Yes sir...we're sick. I guess it's my own fault...I've been bragging about how we've managed to stay well through all these illnesses everyone has. Shouldn't have counted my blessings so quickly! Peyton started this morning off with a horrible diaper which lead to two more horrible diapers which lead to him throwing up in the kitchen. His illness has lead to my (Lisa) illness...which is about the same. I'm officially running a fever and all I can say is thank GOD Brad is not out of town this week. He usually is gone when these things happen. He's been a great daddy and hubby tonight...taking care of his family. I pray this is over quick since we're suppose to go to Jackson to meet Nana and Pop this weekend. But mostly, I want it to be over because I hate feeling like this and I know Peyton hates feeling like this. On that note, I'll leave you with a sweet picture of the little man....maybe that will make us well!!

You put your right foot in....

Do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around!! It's the latest dance craze and you're just not with it if you're not doing the hokey pokey!!! At least at the Hoefler house :-) Peyton LOVES doing the hokey pokey and would do it ALL DAY if we could sing it that long. I'm not really sure where he actually learned it, but he picked up on it very quickly. On a side note....he thoroughly enjoyed seeing Elmo in person 2 weeks ago. I wasn't sure how an 18 month old was going to react, but let me tell you, he was in awe! It lastest 2 hours and Peyton managed to stay awake the full 2 hours. We even bought an $8 Elmo balloon he proceeded to let go. He had a blast, I had a blast and I think it's safe to say that Maw had a blast. Thanks Maw for helping out!! I'll try to load pictures from our day a little later. For now I'll leave you with a much anticipated video of Peyton doing the hokey pokey as well as saying a few "words". Please forgive my singing....I know I'm horrible!
