Shelby Leigh

Shelby was welcomed to this world this morning at 8:48 am weighing 6lbs 12 oz and exactly 19 inches. She is doing WONDERFULLY and has already stolen our hearts for life. Peyton has done incredibly well with her and is NO DOUBT the proudest big brother I've ever seen. Tonight he told me "thank you Mommy for baby Shelby." Melt my heart!!!

Chipmunks

We took Peyton to his very first movie today. He LOVED it. He woke up literally bouncing off the walls this morning because he was so pumped to go see "chipmunks." We asked him if he was going to get popcorn at the movies and his response was...."oh yeah..I get popcorn." And then he proceeded to get into the pantry and pull a box of popcorn out. Brad was so proud that he was being economical. I however explained that you buy popcorn there. He got his "kids combo" which consisted of an Icee, popcorn and gummie bears. He ate all the gummie bears before the movie started and drank all his Icee plus mine before the movie was over. He loved it. I'll have to say the movie was beyond slow, but Peyton enjoyed and thats all that mattered. He fell asleep in the car on the way home and now all that sugar has kicked in and his bouncing again. I'm guessing today is going to be a napless day, but it was so worth it!!!

Eating his popcorn before the movie started
Had to get a picture with the chipmunks!

He was SO proud he had his very own ticket
Posing with dad before we left this morning

And here is a preggo shot for all who have asked....36 weeks and 3 days. I'm huge, but doesn't Peyton look so proud of his sister?!!

Christmas catch up

Before Christmas Peyton had his Christmas program at school. Maw, Nana and Pop all came down for the big event which made us nervous because we weren't sure how he was going to do. He performed well in the first 5 minutes or so of the program and then we lost him. ha!! He then rolled around on the stage, put his crown over his face and chewed on his shirt for awhile. He clearly got a little uneasy sitting up there for so long and wanted Mommy. It still was fun to watch and I hope the grandparents enjoyed it as much as we did!! and as usual I loaded all these pictures backwards!! oh well enjoy anyways.

Apparently his teacher was telling him to smile....he took her literally.
This is when we lost him....he had major issues with his crown....he was a wise man by the way.

Getting into the music

REALLY getting into the music!

Just had to throw this one in here. I put this outfit on him one morning and he got a big giggle out of it...he said I dressed him like Paw!! this kid is a riot.
